Brands to watch: Axe, Easy Waves & Vodacom

Kazazoom-enhanced third-generation brand apps are making their presence felt on Mxit, with Axe's recent launch of their new AXECESS brand and competition app, and both Easy Waves and Vodacom updating their Mxit apps. Built by Kazazoom using their flagship ZoomPress product, these apps have improved functionality and give a slick smart phone feel to brand apps - even if the user is accessing the app via a feature phone. Digital Agencies like Mantaray, Gorilla Creative Media or 720mi, as well as community managers who design or run these apps also now have the ability to schedule their content and have a wider range of functions that are much easier to implement than previously, as the ZoomPress interface operates simply as a WordPress blog. Kazazoom CEO Eric Clements says, "We have been listening to brands over the last three years and work closely with Mxit to tailor our ZoomPress product to brand requirements."
