New Ireland/Davenport PR unit gets South African Tourism account

A newly-established PR unit at Ireland/Davenport has been appointed to deliver public relations services to South African Tourism, becoming effective today, Thursday, 2 June 2011. Ireland/Davenport takes over from Kezi Communications, whose contract with SA Tourism ended on Tuesday 31 May.

Ireland/Daveport is lead advertising agency for the national tourism agency responsible for the marketing of South Africa as a preferred tourist destination.

Said Jermaine Craig, SA Tourism global communications manager, in a press statement: "We thank Kezi Communications for its work for South African Tourism. Last month's tourism Indaba in Durban was a particular highlight of that agency's delivery and we wish Kezi well.

"Ireland/Davenport is currently working on a number of major ongoing domestic and international destination campaigns and its new PR unit is equipped with considerable capacity and industry experience that we are confident will strengthen our communications and marketing efforts."
