Sky News, also known as DStv's channel 402, will be the first news channel in South Africa to introduce Hearing Impaired (HI) subtitles to its deaf and hard hearing viewers.
DStv has been offering HI subtitles since 2006 and has since digitised their Tape Aids library for the blind, as well as incorporating the provision of HI subtitles recordings where available on the DStv Explora.
Sky News joins Mzansi, M-Net, and M-Net Movie channels, Vuzu and Vuzu AMP.
