Our J&J Marketing Department within the Sub-Sahara Africa (SSA) cluster is offering three young, dynamic and qualified graduates with a two-three year working track record, an opportunity to join their team in assisting them in managing the expansion of the J&J portfolio into the Sub Sahara Markets.

Highly motivated and self-driven, you are a proactive individual who can act on consumer insights and support the company strategy through building the portfolio availability and activating our brands via advertising and in-store point of sale materials.

Thrive on performing a role which is pivotal in supporting the wider organisation to effectively execute on our annual business plan across all SSA markets as you deliver on the following responsibilities:


  • Partner with relevant brand managers to execute Below the Line (BTL) brand plans and Point of Sale (POS) development for SSA markets
  • Work with regulatory to track health authority approval of POS material and arrange delivery to market
  • Track and drive required licensing of all new products in market with regulatory, updating core range portfolio when required
  • Inform Regional Business Managers of changes to activity and marketing activity per market
  • Assist in the analysis and collation of market data, providing administrative assistance when needed.

Along with your Matric Certificate, you have a relevant marketing or business degree/diploma. In addition, you will need a minimum of two-three years’ marketing experience in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment.

Self-motivated to work independently and in a team, you possess above average analytical abilities and financial acumen. Well equipped with strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, you have a strong sense of urgency with good work ethic.
