Changes for Little Black Book, out in November

The Financial Mail Little Black Book, out on 10 November 2010, places more emphasis on profiling business leaders at chairperson, CEO and MD level; combines artists with media and advertising to present the arts as a business and entrepreneurial pursuit; expands the section on senior managers in the civil service and has a new section on industrial and manufacturing.

A gala dinner for over 200 business leaders at Longmeadow, Fourways, Johannesburg, is planned for the launch, at which the Mover & Shaker and Lifetime Achiever Awards will also be presented to two business leaders.

"I am excited about the 2010/11 Lifetime Achiever, as we will be honouring a trailblazer, who will go down in the history of this nation as a business leader and an entrepreneur extraordinaire and who achieved this without any of the fanfare that accompanies this level of excellence, position and responsibility," says editor Shavana Mushwana.
