“Alcohol is physiologically far more dangerous for women than it is for men,” says Kate Wilson, the magazine's editor. “We invited the three agencies to design a campaign that would raise awareness of the risks involved and get women to think twice about having another glass.”
Health-wise, women are more negatively affected by alcohol than men are. Women who drink alcohol increase their risk of developing breast cancer, suffering from infertility and are more likely to have a stroke due to alcohol consumption.
Readers are invited to vote for the campaign they think will get the message across most effectively.
