The awards (which are linked to the New York Festival, much like the South African APEX awards) recognize a combination of both creativity and efficacy of work on an international level. The judging process will bring together some of the world's top interactive and multidisciplinary marketers, media planners, strategy directors, social media experts, and creative directors to judge entries based on their ability to accomplish specific business goals and objectives, while using the combination of strategic planning and well-crafted concepts.

It's a great system,” says Lawrence. “AME has chosen regional juries consisting of people who have a clear understanding for the markets within that region, ultimately allowing for a more fair evaluation of each entry.”
