I started working at Simba (Isando) where I use to work under the Sales Department as a Sales Rep assistant servicing customers and merchandising in store. I then moved to Nissan SA head office in PTA where I was under the Retail Marketing Department, here we use to come up with dealership car specials on vehicle sales, competitor analysis and also coordinating events and promotions at dealerships nation wide. I then moved to Bilfiger Steinmuller an engineering company that services power stations with its main client being Eskom. Here I use to co-edit the internal magazine and provide news on what is happening at all branches in SA, I also planned and coordinated events, and exhibitions. I then moved to Independent Newspapers where I dealt more in trade marketing, ending proposal to client with the objective of barter deals and partnerships. I also came up with ideas on how to promote the newspapers through activations. I was also a client liaison, and ran competitions with prizes that I would source. I also ran campaigns with schools ie Art Competitions annually and many more. Iam currently employed at a business Solutions company Digiterra Group, which specialises in IT Solution products, BI Tool/Software, where iam managing their social media, cold calling for business and also helping with marketing activities in general.
