The results of The Standard Innovation 100 Awards were recently released and local social media/online retail outlet Springleap.com was judged as the second most innovative retail company worldwide, placing it above the Apple Application Store, Amazon.com, Threadless and thousands of other nominees. Springleap has also been nominated by Frost and Sullivan for the Product Line Strategy Award that is presented each year to a company that has demonstrated the most insight into the needs and product demand of its customers. The site is currently competing in the South African E-commerce Awards in the Clothing and Accessories category, up against the likes of Edgars and Keedo.
