Following the resignation of Elston Seppie, executive director of the Freedom of Expression Institute (FXI), due to ill health, the organisation has appointed Mbalenhle Cele and Raashied Galant as joint acting executive directors. FXI chair Anton Harber states that the organisation's regrets losing Seppie, as he had played an important role in reorganising the FXI and giving it a fresh sense of direction and purpose. The post will be filled in the near future.
