Business Day financial awards

Common perceptions are that financial advertisements are dull and boring, but the Business Day Financial Awards, now in their 15th year, indicate otherwise.

Awards are given to companies that go the extra mile when it comes to reporting company results and complying with other JSE regulations, and to those that show good corporate governance, are transparent and communicate well with shareholders and the public.

The cut-off date for this year's entries is May 31, while pre-judging will take place on June 13. The judges include industry leaders who believe in the value of good corporate governance and open communication. Every advert is judged on a stringent set of criteria that not only look at creativity but the quality of content.

This year's panel of judges will include:
Noah Greenhill - Manager AltX and Business Development Manager JSE
Neels Bloom - Associate editor Business Day
Daniel Thole - Company editor Business Day
Christelle Naude - Structured Financier Bravura Equity
Douglas Taylor - MD Trilogy Communication
Michele Perrow - Netactive
