Says station manager Helen Graham, "Good Hope FM is a station that prides itself on developing new talent. The strength of our current line-up has contributed to our recent audience increases and we are confident that the introduction of a few new voices will further strengthen the brand."
In the only major change to the weekday line-up, Sfiso Maggz takes over the early morning shift (2am-6am). Weekday DJs Nigel Pierce, Suga, Diggy Bongz, Ryan O'Connor, Jeannie D, Eeshaam September and The Nightwatchmen remain in their regular slots.
Diggy will be joined in his 12pm-3.30pm show by newsreader Leigh-Anne Williams, a UWC motivational speaker, while Mark Marshall returns after a three-year break as a sport presenter in Ryan O' Connor's 3pm-6pm slot.
Joining the station is Pam Lungu in the 6pm-10pm weekend slot. Priya Reddy moves from the graveyard shift to host her own weekend afternoon show (2pm-6pm). She will be joined by two radio newcomers: newsreader Roxanne Bennett, a former KTV presenter and now a student at the University of Cape Town, and sports presenter Taryn Oliver. The third newcomer is 19-year-old newsreader, Vrishni Pillay, on Bradley Knight's and Tyrone Paulsen's weekend shows.
Completing the weekend line-up are regulars Tyrone Paulsen, the popular Nightwatchmen, and Eeshaam September, who will continue to keep Cape Town in touch with what's happening in the city.
