Says Media Nova MD Tony Vaughan, “As we already publish three customer titles, we have always understood that we can grow our current portfolio, and now that we have won another title, following a hard-fought tender process, we thought that it was time to formalise our customer publishing offering.
“Customer publishing demands at least the same standards of quality and journalism that a reader has come to expect from a consumer title, combined with the commercial know-how needed to keep costs under control.”
Debbie Griffiths joins Media Nova as deputy sales director to focus on growing this stable for the award-winning publishing firm. Hailing most recently from Media24, Debbie has 17 years' experience in customer and trade publishing. Griffiths will also be managing the four customer titles already published by Media Nova, namely RCI Directory of Resorts 2009-2010, RE/MAX Showcase, Greeff Outlook and Giltedge.
Another new addition to the team is account executive Annelie van der Westhuizen, also from Media24. Both Griffiths and Van der Westhuizen will be based at Media Nova's Sandton offices in Johannesburg.
