Robertson Wine Valley heads to Pretoria

Robertson Wine Valley is back in Gauteng on 3-4 August 2013 at the Kievits Kroon Country Estate just outside Pretoria. Fine wine will be the order of the day, as dozens of wineries afford Gautengers the opportunity to enjoy the valley's wines on their doorstep.

The line-up of Robertson Wine Valley wineries showcasing their fine wines will include Excelsior, Major's Hill, Rietvallei, Robertson Winery, Rooiberg Winery, Springfield, Van Loveren, Weltevrede and Zandvliet. Wines are sold on site at good prices, providing the perfect opportunity to stock up on favourite Robertson wines.

With its lawns, rose beds, landscaped gardens and Cape Dutch-style manor house, the hotel is reminiscent of the Cape wine estates and has been labelled 'the Winelands in Gauteng'. It was voted best Luxury Country Hotel in Africa at the 2012 World Luxury Hotel Awards.

In addition to wines, there will be food, fun and entertainment for the whole family. The estate's 'no children under 14' policy will be relaxed for the weekend to permit entry to children of all ages.

Tickets cost R180 per person per day or R320 for a weekend pass, which includes a tasting glass, a bottle of water and a 'goodie' bag, with children under 18 entering free of charge. There is an early bird special of R150 per person per day or R280 for a weekend pass. Tickets are available online at Webtickets.co.za and will be sold at the gate. Designated parking areas with ease of access will be available.
