New Faces SA is determined in remaining a boutique agency, representing carefully selected models for local and International development. Having set up strategic alliances globally, New Faces SA are adament that they will be sending SA faces to work abroad to further their careers. New Faces SA also claim to be the first official artist management company in SA. Once again sticking to their guns and emphasizing that each individual they sign gets personal attention, they will only be signing a handful of artists. New Faces are very pleased to announce that the first SA artist they have signed for an International management agreement is 2004 SAMA nominee, Cofield Mundi. In the last month New Faces have been swamped with demo CD's from artists wishing to further their careers. But the selection process is slow and intrigate, says Paul Reynell, Director of Artist Developement.
"The support from the labels and producers in South Africa so far have been great and we have been overwelmed by some of the talent presented to us. Naturally we can only select a few to market and develope.That doesn't mean we are out of bounds to artists seeking representation or guidence. Our local team, as well as our team in Europe are always here for any artist needing assistance. Music is our passion, and it's evident in our attitude and approach. We are very fortunate to have signed Cofield as our first artist in SA, and within a month of signing, tracks from her debut album, Ceremony were already tested on the airwaves in Switzerland, and the response we got was great and encouraging.", says Reynell.
