Touchline Media awarded FIFA publishing rights

Touchline Media has been appointed by FIFA as the official match programme publisher for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, it was announced early this afternoon, Monday, 18 May 2009.

“We are delighted to have found in Touchline a strong print licence partner. Touchline is well-represented throughout South Africa with its wide range of publications, reinforcing our conviction that we will be able to meet all the fans' needs,” said FIFA's marketing director Thierry Weil.

The sports and healthy lifestyle publishing company, in partnership with the Global Brands Group (FIFA's exclusively appointed Master Licensee), will keep football fans informed and entertained in the build-up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and throughout the tournament, with the production of a range of official licensed products, including preview guides, travel guides, poster books, tournament posters, calendars and programmes.
