2008 Cannes Lions website launched

The Cannes Lions 2008 website recently launched with a new section, Lions+, full of inspiration and information about creativity in communications.

Updated weekly, it includes:

  • 50+ Years of Grands Prix: Exclusive access to every Grand Prix winner in every Cannes Lions category since 1954.
  • 5 Minutes With…: Observations and insights from industry luminaries. First up, president of the inaugural Design Lions Jury, Rodney Fitch.
  • Behind The Idea: Specially-created mini-films reveal the strategy and ideas behind great advertising, including Dove ‘Evolution', Levi's ‘Dangerous Liaisons', Amnesty International ‘Signature', Honda ‘Cog', Guinness ‘Noitulove', and many more.
  • The Archive Channel: Dip into the riches of the Cannes Lions Archive, comprising over 150 000 ads dating back to 1990.
  • 2007 Cannes Lions Seminars: Full-length versions of some of the most talked-about seminars of this year's Festival, from The Cannes Debate to learnings from Grey Worldwide, Proximity and Dentsu.

To access this content, users will be required to create a login and password for www.canneslions.com/lions/, which can also be used to register for the Festival and enter work into Cannes Lions next year.
