We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and diligent sales assistant to join our team in the retail industry. As a sales assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the business. Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information and guidance to customers
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor
• Monitor and replenish stock levels to ensure availability of products
• Assist with visual merchandising and product displays
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and achieve the company's objectives

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
• A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and growth
• Grade 12/N4 equivalent
