Philips gets cooking with Jamie's Tools

The new range is designed to give everyone some extra help in the kitchen, providing simple, nutritious and delicious meals to enjoy every day, particularly for people struggling to find time to get fresh food on the table.

Speaking about the new project, Oliver said, "Working on the range has given me a massive buzz. I wanted to create useful, powerful and reliable products with a focus on simplicity, performance and design - which I think we have achieved. For me, it is about encouraging people to feel as comfortable and confident using this kit as possible. I set out to design a range that I would be genuinely happy to have and use in my own kitchen and can't wait to launch the products."

Tools include multipurpose HomeCooker

Designed to keep fresh food on the table and fresh cooks in the kitchen, the new tools include a hand blender, food processor, blender, steamer and HomeCooker - highlighting expert craftsmanship and innovation. Developed with busy families in mind, each product comes with a set of exclusive recipes.

The HomeCooker is a first-of-its-kind, multi-functional device that does the preparation as well as the cooking. It has been specially designed to achieve authentic home cooking with ease. It chops, stirs, steams and sautés and can be left cooking unattended, giving cooks some quality time back.

The range will be available in-store from April 2013 and will be available at Boardmans, Hirsch stores, Dion-Wired, Checkers Hyper and online through Yuppie Chef.
