Networking Expo offers retailers quick interfaces

Network Expos Africa Retail, which will run from 26-27 March 2012 at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, is designed for busy decision makers by offering an overview of services and products in the retail sector, with a primary focus on retail systems, visual communications, interiors and design.

Created by Montgomery Africa, a leader in developing events that drive business value, it is reportedly a first of its kind in South Africa. The company's research has found that exhibitors and exhibition visitors are both pressured in terms of time, financial and human resources - so this concept is in response to a very real need.

It will be a time-efficient, value-for-money business development solution, aimed at facilitating business growth opportunities through niched exhibitions offering effective networking and quick lead generation.

Montgomery Africa's business development manager, Lydia Botha, says the exhibition will showcase solutions for the entire spectrum of retail products and services, from specialist payment systems to point of sale, interior and retail design. It will provide a marketplace for those responsible for managing their company's retail experience and encompasses all solutions, technologies and services for retail spaces to drive efficiencies and improve the bottom line.

The format of the show will facilitate direct, face-to-face contact - making it easier to make buying decisions. The show is ideally suited to exhibitors in the following areas: supermarkets, boutiques, concept stores, shopping centres, kiosks and take-away outlets, showrooms, banks, travel agencies, fitness centres, restaurants and bars, hotels, bed and breakfasts and casinos.

The focus is on lead generation, so the show format provides contact with buyers through an easily navigable, compact exhibition layout. Added value takes the form of long-term pre- and post-event exposure on a virtual press office on the website, as well as mini-seminars which will take place on the exhibition floor during the show.

Network Expos Africa will also run the following exhibitions in March 2012:

  • Network Expos Africa Packaging, 19-20 March
  • Network Expos Africa Logistics and Supply Chain Management, 22-23 March
  • Network Expos Africa Entrepreneur, 15-16 March
