Western Cape craft producers and designer can submit innovative handmade craft and design products in anything from ceramics, wool and textiles, to glass, wood and metal. Previous selections have included items such as mosaics, beadwork, embroidery, lighting, jewellery and even homeware made from recycled plastic, fabric waste and bottle caps.

A board of designers, retail gallery owners and curators will select work. The curators seek originality, innovation, local distinctiveness, integrity and skill in the chosen craft or design area.

The only limits are that the final product must not measure more than 1 x 1 x 1 metres. The deadline for entry of display items by photograph is Friday 2 December 2011 at 3.30pm.
