Inspired by the Nintendo megahit Super Mario Bros, it was created to educate customers around the breadth and depth of the TFG eMall, in the run up to its sale day, which will display the many stores and products available through the TFG website.
The aim of the game is to navigate Stan on a mission to grab as much merchandise from as many stores as he can. Evil shopping trolleys have to be avoided and jumping the queue at the end completes the game. Super Stan is a cool and quirky reference to the benefits of online shopping, where customers can avoid crowds, trolleys and queues.
Shoppers can access substantial discounts across multiple stores in the TFG eMall, with checkout taking place in one bag. A further incentive to cross-shop – if shoppers add products from three or more different stores to their cart, they are entered into another prize draw to win Nespresso coffee machines or Samsung smart phones.
The eMall now hosts 11 linked stores, with Foschini For Beauty – its cosmetic retail site – joining this week. Online stores taking part in the Shop Hop include @home, Duesouth, Duesouth Escapes, Fabiani, hi, Markham, Relay Jeans, Sportscene, and Totalsports.
