Best in its class

Strategy Analytics verified E1 specifications against the top 100 smartphones of 2013 with a global average launch price less than 175 Euros and found it the best in its class. The E1 offers a clear 100 dB speaker for music, has the fastest processor and data speeds in class for apps and internet and offers a bright and clear 4" WVGA display encapsulated in the latest design.

It has intuitive Walkman controls and connects via Bluetooth to the company's extended eco system so whether it's through the SBH20 stereo Bluetooth headset or the Bluetooth music receiver BM10, it remains at the heart of the connected music experience.

"It combines the best of Sony's audio technologies with a premium design and great hardware to create a smartphone for people who want to express themselves out loud," says Calum MacDougall, director of Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications. "It's a new, music focused player in the brand's line-up that is underpinned by the best of the company's design, display and content offers."

Large screen visual enjoyment

The Xperia T2 Ultra is designed specifically with customers from emerging markets in China, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific rim in mind. It brings together the best of the company's imaging and display technologies with groundbreaking design efficiency to produce a LTE3 Android smartphone at a mid-range price point.

It offers one of the world's most portable large-screen smartphones with 6" HD display, slim, lightweight and easy to use design with one-handed operation features. It has the best camera in its class and enhanced 'selfie' apps such as Portrait retouch. It has fast data, a quick processor and good battery performance to keep movies playing all day.

"It will lead the category through its combination of advanced display and camera technologies and will bring large-screen entertainment in a portable form factor, while providing value for money," says MacDougall. "Its large HD display will deliver big screen entertainment on the go whilst the efficiency of the design will allow it to remain the world's most portable large screen smartphone."

Add headset, flip case

The SBH52 dynamic smart Bluetooth handset provides easy hands-free call handling with a single press, while leaving the smartphone conveniently in a bag. It also provides stereo sound while enjoying movies on the Xperia T2 Ultra.

The OLED display conveniently lets users browse call log, view text messages and see who's calling. In addition, with a sleek, minimal and splash-proof design one can now use it anywhere, in any weather. Use it as a quality stereo music headset to listen to music or to the built-in standalone FM radio with RDS. Pairing and connecting is achieved simply by touching it to the back of Xperia T2 Ultra or other NFC-enabled device. The smart flip case - SCR14 does not only protect the screen from scratching but can also serve as a holding stand for watching movies or using video chat. Moreover, its smart sensors will automatically wake up the Xperia T2 Ultra as soon as one opens the cover.
