The campaign, which commenced earlier this month, has been making a difference in the lives of underpriviledged children across Cape Town as it aims to target a different charity organisation daily. To achieve this goal, World's Best Pan has teamed up with Jam Media, Banks, Goodhope FM, Checkers and Neill Anthony. The soup is prepared daily at the Banks store in Sea Point by various private chefs and other corporates and then distributed to the designated charities.
Friday will see the second last day of the campaign kicking off with Pauline O'Kelly, senior voice training and development specialist at The Voice Clinic, cooking, while Nigel Pierce from Goodhope FM plays host. Once that leg is complete, the soup will be distibuted at Bright Stars Childrens home in Kraaifontein.
"We are humbled and excited at the opportunity to get involved in such a campaign in furthering the initiative set in motion by a man who pioneered change for the better in this country," said Monique Harrisberg, founder of The Voice Clinic.
