• Banking in Emerging Economies:

In this theme, we examine the challenges to banks and financial institutions in emerging economies and their responses to these challenges.

• Risk Management in Financial Institutions:
This theme relates to the challenges to financial institution in managing financial and operation risk.

• Sustainable Banking and Financial Services:
Financial institutions are under pressure to improve their sustainability. This theme relates to a number of different topics, such as operational efficiencies, banking and investments performance, integrative thinking, business design, Corporate Social Responsibility and country competitiveness in financial services.

• Banks and Society:
This theme examines the relationship of banks with society and the environment.

• Banking Channels and Products:
In this theme, we examine the development and integration of banking channels and products and its impact on economic growth and development.

Speakers
Speakers and participants will reflect the diversity of banking in Africa and the rest of the world. Speakers will address issues of sustainability of the financial services industry.
