TaxTim online solution available in four languages

TaxTim, a new online virtual tax assistant now offers more South African tax payers the opportunity to file their tax returns in English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa and isiZulu. For the first time ever, 63% of South Africans can now do their own tax returns with complete confidence in their home language. TaxTim is now the only tax assistant in South Africa that has a multi-language offering.

Previously, the breakthrough online assistant TaxTim was only able to assist its customers in English. The core product of the tool has now been translated to reach more of the diverse South African market, including a step-by-step guide for getting a tax number and using e-Filing, all the content you would need to navigate the tax system and file your return as well as all the essential tax definitions.

"Tax is hard enough to understand in your own language. We are delighted to announce that TaxTim has now made it that much easier for the majority of South Africans to achieve tax compliancy," says Evan Robinson, co-founder of TaxTim.

Easy, fun and fast

TaxTim is the brainchild of South African entrepreneurs, Marc Sevitz, a qualified chartered accountant and tax specialist, and Evan Robinson, an inventor and software developer, who after being selected to join the national Google Umbono programme last year, created a fun, easy and fast online tax return solution for young professionals.

All you need to do is visit www.taxtim.co.za and register, answer TaxTim's easy questions and pay a once off fee of R199. If you're lucky, you will complete your tax return and have submitted it in less than twenty minutes. And if you tell your friends about TaxTim on Facebook or Twitter, you only pay R169.

"TaxTim helps you every step of the way, from registering for a tax number, signing up for e-Filing, completing your return correctly and finally submitting to SARS - confident in the knowledge that you have done things right. We offer a professional service for all individual taxpayers regardless of income level," said Sevitz.
