The vehicles on offer include cars, LDVs, motorcycles, panel vans, refuse compactors, tippers, crane trucks, vacuum tankers, sewer jet trucks, dropside and flatdecks. The earthmoving equipment comprises of front-end loaders, digger loaders, rollers and a selection of small equipment.
The range of moveables includes a very large quantity of assorted tyres, office furniture, computers, photocopiers, printers, workshop equipment, pumps, lawn mowers, water valves, air conditioners, generators, compressors, ladders, steam and pressure cleaners, electric motors, stoves, fridges, fire and rescue equipment and hawker's goods. Over and above the redundant assets, is a large selection of abandoned vehicles which will be sold on the same day from the traffic pound which is adjacent to the auction yard.
''The list of items which has been accumulated is extensive, and we are expecting over 400 lots to be catalogued. As such we anticipate a very busy auction. The bottom line is that these auctions attract huge interest as buyers are able to get their hands on quality vehicles and other moveables, at competitive prices,'' says Martin Dibowitz of Aucor.
All items will go on auction at The Auction Yard, Oude Molen Road, Ndabeni in Cape Town at 9.30am on Wednesday, 28 November 2012. The items may be viewed on Tuesday, 27 November from 9am till 3.30pm. Aucor staff will be on hand to assist buyers.
