Howzit MSN now adds content from Drive magazine

One of South Africa's largest web portals, Howzit MSN has revamped its motoring channel to address growing demand for motoring content among its user base. The new motoring channel adds content from Drive magazine to the existing slate of content that Howzit MSN carries from Cars in Action Online. The channel now carries the best selection of motoring and motorsport news, vehicle reviews and motoring opinion in South Africa.

Howzit MSN has also partnered with Surf 4 Cars, the online second-hand car search engine, to make it easy for consumers to find a used car to purchase. This answers to a growing interest in the second-hand vehicle market among the site's users.

Benefit for car manufacturers

Says Marcus Stephens, general manager of Howzit MSN: "Our motoring channel has been a hit from its earliest days, with strong support from advertisers and inventory sold out each month. We are proud to be adding new content and new opportunities for advertisers to the channel with our revamp.

"We think that car manufacturers will find a great deal of benefit in upselling new vehicles to users who are already looking to buy a used car. Our content means that we are able to offer an audience of prospective car buyers and car aficionados in a highly engaged environment to advertisers that sell cars and related products," Stephens says.
