Tuning the Vine hits Cape Town's CBD

Tuning the Vine's monthly #InnerCityWineRoute will take place in the Cape Town CBD on Wednesday, 9 March, 2016, from 5.30pm to 9pm. Venues include: 91 Loop Boutique Hostel, House of Machines, Signal Hill Winery, HQ, Weinhaus & Biergarten, Charango, Bocca, The Gin Bar, Jasons, The Odyssey, Palma, Culture Club, Bacon on Bree, Door 221, Orphanage Cocktail Emporium, and O'Jangles Gastro Pub.

Collaborations of gastronomical bliss – these #InnerCityWineRoute venues will offer delicious treats for tuners; think pies, farm charcuterie, cheeseboards, burgers, mini margaritas, sausage fests (the good kind), Peruvian tacos, tapas and street food goodness all for sale on the night.

Win a mixed case

Tuners can win one of five mixed cases of 12 #InnerCityWineRoute wines – simply photograph yourself at the event, with your favourite producer’s bottle and Tuning the Vine glass, upload it to Instagram or Twitter using #mybestwine #InnerCityWineRoute and you could win.

Tickets are R150 via Quicket, collect your wrist bands and glasses at one of the two ticketing stations on the night. The stations for February are 91 Loop Boutique Hostel and Orphanage Cocktail Emporium in Bree. Please note, tickets purchased at the event will cost R170.

Add some magic to your #InnerCityWineRoute with a Sommelier tour. Starting at 6pm and 7pm from 91 on Loop, these 60-minute tours cost an additional R100 per person (maximum eight people). Whether you’re an experienced wino or a curious newbie looking to demystify wine, these tours will help anyone dive deeper into the magical wonders of wine.
