Over R200,000 raised at 5 For Change 2015

Cape Town came alive on Saturday night as over 600 guests came together to support the annual 5 For Change black tie gala. The aim of 5 For Change is to raise awareness about five inspiring social enterprises and change the way young professionals, entrepreneurs, and other young South African opinion leaders think about philanthropy and social change whilst creating a rewarding, fun and enjoyable avenue for people to give back.

Guests were welcomed by Host Siv Ngesi and treated to cocktails and canapés as they mingled with the five selected beneficiaries; Read to Rise, My Own Cup, Trade-Mark, Generation Ubuntu and Beyond Expectation Environmental Project, whereafter a successful auction conducted by David Murray saw the event raise over R200,000 for the five beneficiaries. Rumspringer, GoodLuck and DJ West entertained the guests until the early hours of the morning as they showed just how much fun giving back to charity can be.
