Mishkah has over 14 years' production experience in television and commercials, having worked for various production companies like Moonlighting Films, on various shows, such as The Weakest Link, Strictly Come Dancing and Spirit Sundae, as well as for equipment supplier companies such as the former Movie Camera Company.
Academically, she has an Honours Degree in Industrial Sociology from the University of Cape Town, a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising with specialisation in Copywriting from the AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town, as well as a certificate in Public Relations from Damelin in Johannesburg.
Mishkah's strengths lie in producing and production management. Having worked on commercials and TV shows for many years, she is experienced at insert producing and directing, as well as in studio experience, producing for live and pre-recorded shows.
Mishkah has been involved in the media, film and television industries since 1997, in various roles, and has worked for a number of diverse companies. She is currently the Assistant Producer of the SABC1 show, "Spirit Sundae", which broadcasts to Mzansi's largest audience, on Sundays at 10h00. She has been in this role for 7 years and has met, and worked with, an array of remarkable personalities, which she sourced as guests. She has also produced and directed numerous inserts for the show.
Clients that Mishkah has worked with on commercials and corporate videos include Price Waterhouse Coopers, LG, The Bank, Lehman Brothers and McDonalds.
She is knowledgeable about technical elements of video such as formats, delivery options etc. having done FCC and music cue sheets, checking tapes for time codes and uploading footage and photos to Social Media networks for the shows she has worked on. She can also off-line edit on Final Cut Pro.
