My professional work is primarily located within the education sector as well as arts and culture industry. I hold a Masters degree in Social Anthropology and the majors in my Bachelor of Arts and Honours Degrees also include Film and Media Studies as well as African Studies. I have a keen interest in research centred on Africa - although my work is not limited to the continent. My skills, qualifications and experience range from project management to writing to workshop facilitation. I am versatile, adaptable and meticulous. I have high levels of proficiency in communication (written and oral), qualitative research, analysing and editing content.

I have worked within the NGO sector, within the university space and, for the past 3 years, I have been working within the freelance space as a researcher and independent artist (poet). From the freelance sector I have honed my ability to work independently, to collaborate, to work with high levels of self-discipline and to conceptualise projects which I see through until the end.

My ambitions are to deepen my research and project management skills within the following sectors: education, arts and culture, heritage and development. Furthermore, I would like to broaden my understanding of the African continent by engaging in varying projects and travelling. Lastly, even with extensive writing and editing skills, I would like to hone other forms of writing and data output within the business and policy realms.
