Training Co-ordinator at TLN Human Performance Systems. I also coordinate the assessment process post-training, and keep our accreditation up to date with our primary accrediting seta, ETDP SETA, as well as our programme approval status with MERSETA and Services SETA.
I have worked for TLN for 16 years, starting as receptionist, then moved to PA to the MD. A large part of my work was proof reading and formatting of training materials. For the last 10 years I have been in position the Training and Assessment Co-ordinator. Initially the company's focus was assisting companies and individuals to move to the then new outcomes based education (OBE) structures as implemented by SAQA. We provided training for assessors, moderators and facilitators, developed training and assessment materials in the OBE format, and assisted companies with their SETA accreditation. In the last few years TLN has moved their focus more to Management Development Training for Imperial Holdings. My role is to coordinate all aspects of the training and assessment, client liaison, assisting candidates with the online aspect of the programme, as well as the registration and certification of our learners with the relevant SETA, I also assist with proof-reading and formatting of materials that the company produces -an aspect of my work that I thoroughly enjoy.
