Vital Health Foods recently held their 14th annual Vital Spring Classic Golf Day at Paarl's Boschenmeer golf course. The event, which was staged in order to raise funds for the Drakenstein Palliative Hospice, was supported by a number of local celebrities.
The golf day raised R235,000 for the charity - exceeding Vital's target amount. The donation will prove invaluable to the Drakenstein Palliative Hospice's 380 patients, who are currently able to enjoy free access to a range of services. These services focus on addressing issues such as accountability, self-confidence, personal capacity development, justice, ethics and gender fairness, in order to empower patients to live life optimally and reach their full potential.
