“Changing the way in which our clients are looking at property, this new way of viewing a home brings the experience to life – from the comfort of wherever you are,” says Pieter Davidtz, business manager at Jawitz Properties Western Seaboard. “Technology has become a very big part of where property is going, virtual reality and view panning is the next step - and the game changer - taking real estate to the next level.”

A viewing is recorded and edited so that every aspect of the property for sale can be assessed. “The agent who does the recorded viewing speaks to the camera as though the camera is the client, highlighting the various features of the home,” explains Corne Davidtz, principal of the franchise.

“We offer this only for exclusive mandates, and are finding that both sellers and buyers alike are enjoying and embracing this new tech concept. We had our first sale through a virtual reality viewing recently; what was wonderful about it was that the tenant was quite difficult, but allowed us access for the recording and thereafter, the buyer only had to see the recording – so without disturbing the tenant or dragging the buyer to yet another viewing, this innovative approach sealed the deal.”
