Striking miners return to work at Kusasalethu

Harmony Gold Mining Company says that 98% of the total workforce had returned to work at Kusasalethu near Carletonville.

This followed an ultimatum issued by the company to striking workers to report for work by no later than 06h00 on Friday.

Graham Briggs‚ chief executive of Harmony said: "We are pleased that almost all of our employees have returned to work at Kusasalethu and that we can recommence normal mining activities."
