The International Institute For Peace Through Tourism (IIPT) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to fostering and facilitating tourism initiatives that contribute to: international understanding and co-operation; an improved quality of environment; the preservation of heritage, and, through these initiatives, helping to bring about a peaceful and sustainable world. IIPTSA's role is to arrange international events on the subject matter, invite sponsors, donors and community tourism stakeholders to contribute to its research and projects.
Sibeko's appointment coincides with the formation of Countrystyle Community Tourism Network South Africa (CCTNSA) and a 10-day educational tour to the Caribbean. The purpose of the study tour is to learn about the internationally recognised "Villages as Businesses" model of community tourism, which highlights the village lifestyle built on unique natural, cultural and human capital. Sibeko and a team of business catalysts leave for Jamaica on Monday, 13 February.
Sibeko has been tasked with the full establishment of IIPTSA in southern Africa through strategic liaison, of IIPT activities. Most importantly, to endorse and support CCTNSA initiatives in all its endeavours.

As an accredited public relations practitioner and Fellow of PRISA, Sibeko served PRISA diligently. His relationship started way back as a Student Member to a Fellow of the Institute, the very last recognition honour only given by board's discretion. Sibeko is an entrepreneur, runs his own business.
