R42 million game lodge sold in Hoedspruit

Engel & Völkers pride themselves in the marketing and selling of upmarket properties and have recently sold a R42 million game lodge in the Greater Kruger Park.

Game Lodges are in high demand due to the amount of international interest and because of their income producing potential to buyers. This is because of the thousands of holiday makers, both nationally and internationally, that visit the park throughout the year.

"A seller approached me to assist with the marketing of a game lodge and I immediately remembered a client who approached me a few years ago who was looking for something similar and, thus, matched the two" said Ryan Forder, team leader of Engel & Völkers Hoedspruit who concluded the sale of the property. This was merely one of many game lodges that are marketed by Engel &Völkers Hoedspruit, who believe more and more buyers are wanting to buy game lodges in the area.

"We are proud to see to see that our property specialists are practicing what they have been trained to do, and make use of our network in the high-end property market. I believe that this is a clear indication of how the property market is on the incline. It is not an everyday occurrence that buyers come into the market in the R40 million region, especially considering the economic state internationally," said Craig Hutchison CEO of Engel &Völkers southern Africa.
