Four new developments for eLan Marketing and Sales

eLan Marketing and Sales have recently announced that four new property and lifestyle developments have been added to its existing portfolio.
Four new developments for eLan Marketing and Sales

With eLan now focusing on marketing and sales of lifestyle residential developments through its databases and Investor Club and not being the actual developer, the company is landing some prime and strategically located estates into which its clients are investing.

The sales of new properties and resale of existing properties at the Simbithi Eco Estate goes from strength to strength. The second estate that the group launched in early 2012, Vulintaba Country Estate, situated 19km west of Newcastle in the Greater Drakensberg Mountains, has had a string of recent remarkable property sales in excess of R20 million over the last few months.

The development already has an established golf course and driving range and will be complemented by other sporting and leisure facilities, including walking trails where some of the rarest bird species can be sighted, a fully functioning equestrian centre, adventure and events centre and 20 hectares of dams for an unique fly fishing experience.

Economic Insight Evening

Focusing on Vulintaba Country Estate, eLan Marketing and Sales is hosting an Economic Insight Evening with well-known economist and presenter of Ontbytsake, Dawie Roodt on Thursday, 13 September at 7pm. The evening will be hosted at The Merchant Hotel at Umuzi Lake in Secunda.

Recently, the group announced that the civil works of phase one "A" of KwaZulu-Natal's Blythedale Coastal Resort will be complete in 90 days. This is momentous given the delays in the project over the last few years and more of the relaunch of the phased development potential of the estate will become public over the following three months.

With its lush tropical and subtropical vegetation and offering 180-degree sea-views, the first phase of this development, "Celebrity Mile", situated between pristine beaches of the Indian Ocean and an indigenous forest, is well underway with the first transfers taking place on completion of the civils' work. "Celebrity Mile" has a total of 23 sites with only seven sites still available offering sea and forest views.

Blythedale Coastal Resort

North Coast residents and potential new buyers can also look forward to the unlocking of various phases at Blythedale Coastal Resort, which will include a resort hotel offering world-class facilities, such as a wellness spa, water theme park, a number of restaurants and retail outlets. An 18-hole resort golf course, complete with a clubhouse, driving range, putting green and a pro-golf shop will complement the resort. Sectional title two- and three-bedroomed apartments, a retirement village and a sporting school of excellence will form part of this development.

Adjacent to "Celebrity Mile", a forest top tented camp will be introduced in 2013, which will offer hospitality services of the highest standard. Residents of "Celebrity Mile" will have direct access to the tented camp's facilities, which will include 20 luxury tented bedrooms, conference facilities and team-building areas. With several events already having been hosted on site, the indigenous forest with its "enchanted garden" atmosphere is a perfect location for corporate, private group events and weddings and is already available on request.

Over the next ten years, Blythedale Coastal Resort will offer 10 000 permanent employment opportunities with 110 000 contractual and 200 000 indirect jobs, respectively.

Moyana Luxury Game Estate

Moyana Luxury Game Estate, set on 4 500 hectares of pristine game reserve less than 30 minutes west of Durban, will have the launch of civil works in March 2013. Envisioned by Lawrence Anthony, author of The Elephant Whisperer, this exclusive big-four game estate will boast residential plot-and-plan developments with a clubhouse, restaurant and wedding venue adjacent to a luxury hotel.

The development will offer 187 free title stands, 18 office sites, and three commercial lodge sites. Investment opportunities will also include a sectional and "timeless vacation" offering at the first hospitality lodge, which will sleep 160 guests. The development will be rolled out in the latter part of 2012.

Kingsland Game Estate in the Greater Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga, a development that forms part of the existing Mjejane River Lodge, perched on the banks of the Crocodile River, is another addition to the eLan Marketing and Sales collection. The estate is incorporated into the Greater Kruger National Park and investors will have the opportunity to purchase 54 standalone sites and sectional title or "timeless vacation" investment opportunities in the 40 two-bedroomed Tented Safari Camp. The launch of this development is set for September 2012.

Seasons Eco Golf Estate

Another of the recent signings to the eLan Group is Seasons Eco Golf Estate. Set in an indigenous bushveld atmosphere with varied vegetation, which supports a diverse range of wildlife in Gauteng, this already well-established development will offer investors the charm and atmosphere of country living with all the amenities of city life.

Situated a stone's throw away from Hartbeestpoort Dam, this 300-acre estate with an 18-hole golf course boasts an extensive clubhouse, a well-equipped pro shop and well-appointed banqueting and conference facilities, which can host conferences, weddings and corporate functions. Other facilities include a swimming pool, an equestrian centre, a gym, tennis and squash. The surrounding Hartbeespoort Dam area offers water sports and scenic boat rides at the dam, flea markets and an inland aquarium.

Turgane Estate

The last of the new additions to the group's newly acquired sales and marketing contracts is the exciting Turgane Estate in Ponta Malongane, Southern Mozambique. Never really exposed to the general public, this estate with numerous private homes and the Hotel Phaphalati on the property, will release 20 Forest Suites, 16 single bedsitters, eight double bedsitters and 40 newly released holiday plot-and-plan sites over the next three months. Prices range from R80 000 for a "timeless vacation" for 15 years, to R449 000 for Forest two-bedroomed suites, to R880 000 for large holiday homes. The hotel and estate sits on the pristine Southern Mozambique coastline.
