Last call for Chatsworth Centre bursary applications

In 2017, Chatsworth Centre is offering a total of R100,000 towards tertiary education fees of matriculants that display potential to succeed. This investment into the community is part of the centre's vision to “change lives” on a long term sustainable basis.

The individuals will be assessed on their matric results, their community involvement, their current financial situation as well as their vision to give back to the community in the future. Application period is open until 27 January 2017. The application form is available via the Chatsworth Centre website or from the information desk at Chatsworth Centre. The initiative aims to reward community members from the following areas Chatsworth, Shallcross, Mobeni Heights, Queensburgh and Malvern only.

Bursary application criteria

  • This Bursary is applicable to students who have matriculated in 2016 and to anyone who wants to study further – aged 17 to 30 only.
  • For those entering that didn’t matriculate in 2016, will need to provide us with their results from the university if the application is not for their first year of studies.
  • Application forms are collectable at the Chatsworth Centre’s marketing office or Information desk.
  • Once you have completed the application form and have attached the application cover page, you can hand deliver your application to the marketing office by 27 January 2017 along with your supporting documents.
  • Applications are open to residents of Chatsworth, Shallcross, Mobeni Heights, Queensburgh and Malvern only.
  • Completed application forms must reach us by no later than Friday, 27 January 2017.
  • An independent judging panel will review each application and the Chatsworth Centre marketing office will contact all successful students by no later than, Wednesday 1 February 2016.
