Vredestein has developed an 800mm wide radial tyre with a diameter of 1230mm. The 800/40 R 22.5 168D Flotation Trac radial will reportedly become the widest tyre available on the market.
The tyres fit 22.5-inch rims, allowing manufacturers of grain, forage trailers and self-loading trailers to increase the volume/capacity of their trailers without increasing tyre diameter.
