Subtle Thresholds an exhibition curated by artist Fritha Langerman, is on at the Iziko South African Museum from 25 July to March 2010. It explores the complex inter-relationship between zoological, human and microbial worlds and combines thousands of elements - including new artworks and artefacts from the Iziko South African Museum, the University of Cape Town and the Wits Adler Museum - to examine the historic and current visual representation of disease.
