The Vault at Taj Cape Town presents a wine and food pairing dinner

The Vault at Taj Cape Town is introducing food and wine pairing dinners until November 2019. Built in the 1920s, as a walk-in bank vault for the African Banking Corporation, The Vault still displays the original colossal safe-door.

Taj Cape Town’s sommeliers have worked with Executive Chef David Tilly and his team of chefs to create the perfect culinary experience for each of the selected wines. The wines have been selected from a number of wine farms, including La Motte, Creation, Klein Constantia, Anthonij Rupert, Paul Cluver, Tokara, Simonsig and Rupert and Rothschild. The pairings have been created not only to complement the wines but also to push the boundaries of conventional pairings.

Each food and wine pairing session is designed for a maximum of 40 guests and consists of a four-course dinner and costs R495 per person. Due to limited seating available for these dinners, it is highly recommended that bookings are made early to avoid disappointment.
