Mieliepop Festival line-up announced

Mieliepop is excited to announce the inclusion of Men Without Hats as the headline act for this year's event. 1980s music fans will fondly remember this quirky and innovative band and their huge hits Safety Dance and Pop Goes the World. Their high-energy show features these favourites as well as material from their 2012 album "Love in the Age of War".

Book your accommodation now at Maizey Stray - the private tented camp five minutes' walk from the live entertainment:

• 1. Maizey Stray is totally private and away from all the entertainment (two minutes by ferry/five minutes' walk), so apart from any nature sounds, nothing will keep you from resting.
• 2. Private pool, waterfall and cash bar.
• 3. Squeaky-clean showers and real toilets (that flush).
• 4. The best breakfast buffet. Taste it to believe it. You will enjoy your breakfast on the banks of the lake, under shade whilst listening to unplugged musicians.
• 5. Twenty-four-hour dedicated ferry (boat that floats) for Maizey Stray guests only. Get collected from the camp and dropped off next to the main stage.
• 6. Twenty-four-hour camp security.
• 7. Braai and kitchen facilities. Yes, we also supply wood. Just ask the staff and they will whip up a fire one tarramerra.
• 8. Safe and secure parking for your vehicle.
• 9. Definitely the most friendly and capable camp staff ever.
• 10. Bass fishing. Yes, bring your rod and cast it from your tent.
