"The ABF has been hosting this event for almost 10 years and it has proven to be very popular. Last year the event was sold out," said Rob Townshend from NAB, co-ordinator of the event. "So far we have 12 teams, although we still have quite a few teams to sell and, that said, we are encouraging the industry to support the ABF and to join in the fun."
So far, the following companies have entered teams: DSTV Media Sales, Sync Advertising, The Citizen, Mindshare, Incredible Connection, OMD, Kwanza Communications, Mall Active and NAB.
"We know that many companies would like to take on the challenge of competing against those that have already entered. If you think you can pit your bowling arm against theirs, then join us and sign up for an evening of entertainment," Townshend said.
The enjoyable aspect of the Ten Pin Bowls event is that people don't have to be particularly sporty - all it takes is a good sense of humour, a will to have fun and a great time will be had by all.
