Position: TV business development managerTake full ownership of driving in-content advertising across some of TV’s hottest shows (and even a few underdogs). Role overview: As the TV business development manager, you will take charge of spearheading our in-content advertising initiatives across a spectrum of TV shows. This role requires a deep passion for high-impact sales and a mastery of strategic selling.
- Take full responsibility for the sales of in-content advertising across various TV shows, ensuring each programme's financial success and on-air impact to meet set targets.
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of each show.
- Craft and present compelling pitches to secure high-value advertising deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of new and existing clients, serving as their primary expert for all in-content advertising needs.
- Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in in-content advertising.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless campaign executions.
Ideal candidate:- Minimum 10 years' media and sales experience.
- Relevant degree or diploma in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets within the television or media industry.
- Exceptional pitching and negotiation skills.
- Established, positive relationships within the advertising industry (both Agency and client direct and broadcasters), with contactable references.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and expand client relationships.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and advertising tactics within the television industry.
- Dynamic and proactive, with a passion for the television industry.
- A self-starter, who prides themselves on their strong work ethic and go getter attitude.
- Excellent project management skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
