Dr Tamara Pheiffer nominated for 2019 Woman of Stature Awards

Set for Saturday, 2 November, the sixth Woman of Stature Awards will take place at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, where 101 of South Africa's most prominent women will be competing for one of twelve awards. Launched in April 2013, Woman of Stature's purpose is to inspire and empower women from all walks of life.

Dr Tamara Pheiffer, a Woman in Healthcare nominee in the Woman of Stature Awards 2019, says, “It is an honour to be nominated for such a prestigious award, and especially for such an empowering cause. It is indeed a cause dear to my heart and I am looking forward to making a difference in the lives of other women. I strive to build awareness of optimal health and nutrition for all South Africans and ensure that we are providing such, as soon as possible, through my various projects. Health is a right, not a privilege! Let us build a community that is healthier than just the absence of the disease. Let us build a community that is thriving! Let us leapfrog the world in medical and biotechnology and make our mark.”
