Festival-tivitiesThis weekend is chock-a-block with action: so many festivals, so many choices. The Synergy Live, SoundsWild and River Republic fests are all getting set to rock Cape Town and Joburg while the Annual Comedy Fest and CT International Dance Festival both kick off - and then let's not forget about the Cape Town Festival of Beer, which gets glasses a chinking from tomorrow. In other news, there has been an avalanche of local bands releasing EPs and albums recently. I chatted to both Monark and Al Bairre about their latest offerings. While Daniel Dercksen is left wanting more from the new Bond film and the Klink Awards are announced. We've got tickets to MCQP, The Table Mountain Blues Summit and Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert featuring Arno Carstens up for grabs!
