An insights-led business is future-proof

In today's top story, I bring you another feedback article from the eCommerce MoneyAfrica Confex. This time I share the wise words of Forrester's James McCormick, who warns that in the ‘age of the customer' it's vital to derive actionable insights from digital engagement as a means to boost customer experience and ensure business survival.

A jam-packed #DesignMonth ended on a high note last week. Read my interview with Stacy Beukes, designer and owner of jewellery brand A Ring To It, who shares Cape Flats memories through her handmade creations.

As we say goodbye to #DesignMonth we say hello to #BrandManagerMonth. Look out for interviews with key brand managers discussing everything from strategy and channels to their top brand objectives for the year.

You can also look forward to feedback from the Scan Display team attending EuroShop in Germany from 5-9 March. Held every three years, it's the largest retail trade fair, with 2,400 exhibitors from 61 countries set to participate.

And in case you missed it, all the #BizTrends2017 PDFs filled with valuable info from over 100 trends contributors across 18 industry sectors, are now available for download!

Happy reading!
