Celebrating 21 years of success

The landmark Peninsula All Suite Hotel on Sea Point's Platinum Mile turned 21 recently and hosted a cocktail party on their picturesque Sunset Deck to celebrate along with members, media and VIP guests.

The iconic white-washed resort - which has hosted guests such as Pavarotti over the decades - is renowned as a first class holiday destination on Cape Town's Atlantic seaboard with a postcard setting beneath Lion's Head and Sunset Beach.

The Spring-themed evening boasted fresh decorations and lighting complimented by snacks, cocktails and live entertainment.

Speeches praising the staff for their dedication and service were delivered by Chris Godenir and Director Alan Schlesinger while John Watson, one of Peninsula's first General Managers, commended The Peninsula for a number of accolades achieved in the past 21 years and what the hotel has achieved for The Three Cities Group.

To date The Peninsula continues to be one of Cape Town's most highly rated time-share resorts, winning numerous awards including RCI Best Large Resort and obtaining Gold Heritage status twice.
